Surah Al Muminun Ayat 101 Tafseer

Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

23.101

فَاِذَا نُفِخَ فِی الصُّوْرِ فَلَاۤ اَنْسَابَ بَیْنَهُمْ یَوْمَىٕذٍ وَّ لَا یَتَسَآءَلُوْنَ(101)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

So when the Horn will be blown, then there will neither be relations[1] among them that Day nor will they ask one another.

Commentary

On the Day of Judgement, the matter of giving or receiving benefit via lineage will come to an end, except the lineage of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, for this will benefit the believing offspring of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “What is with those people who think that being close to me will not benefit. Every relationship and familial bond will be severed on Judgement Day except my relationship and familial bond, for it is connected in this world and the Hereafter.” (Majma‘ Al-Zawāid: 13827)
